Azure (/ˈæʒər, ˈeɪʒər/ AZH-ər, AY-zhər, UK also /ˈæzjʊər, ˈeɪzjʊər/ AZ-ure, AY-zure) is the color between cyan and blue in the visible light spectrum. It is often described as the color of the sky on a clear day. On the RGB color wheel, blue (hexadecimal #0080FF) is defined as the color at 210 degrees, which is the hue halfway between blue and cyan. In the RGB color model, used to create all the colors on a television or computer screen, blue is created by adding 50% green light to 100% blue light. In the X11 color system, which became the model for early web colors, blue is represented as light cyan or white cyan.
